Experience the beauty of the Algarve coastline on a vintage wooden boat during one of our tours, while tasting local Algarvian wines, enjoying typical petiscos/tapas with beautiful beaches and cliffs passing by.
The cruise starts at the Club Naval Portimão and makes it way out to sea, cruising along the coast.
Throughout the tour, we will be sampling wines from local vineyards of the Algarve, Alentejo, Porto and other regions of Portugal. Depending on the tour dates, we will sample white, rosé and red wines (red depending on the heat of the summer) from different wine producers.
Guests will have the opportunity to purchase bottles of their favorite wines at the end of the tour to enjoy during the rest of their stay or to take home to add to their collection. Please drink responsibly.
During the tour we will stay at a spot with nice view for a little while and you can have a swim in the ocean if you like. So bring your swim utensils and towel if you feel you like going for a dip.
Which vineyard and wine we will introduce on which tour days will be mentioned on our site and booking platform.
On our upcoming wine boat tour on May 02, 2024 we will introduce the well-known Quinta dos Vales winery and serve some good wines from Estômbar.
Quinta dos Vales is a superb wine estate situated in the heart of the Western Algarve.
From very humble beginnings this 44 hectare estate is now considered one of the best wineries in the Algarve with recognition from international organizations and visitors coming from far and wide.
Every Monday and Thursday at 14.00h.
Each tour takes 3 hours.
The ticket price includes boat tour, wine tasting and petiscos.

Petiscos
Many people think that petiscos are just Portuguese tapas, but the culture around when, where, and what to petiscar in Portugal means they’re really not the same.
Please note: Type of petiscos served is depending on season and availability.
The Algarve Wine Cruise does not enter Benagil cave.
